Did you know there’s a volcano on Mars that is 47 times taller than the Willis Tower? And, that the Universe contains more stars than grains of sand on our entire planet? Space is mind-blowingly awesome, and is just waiting to be explored at the Adler Planetarium. Follow Apollo 13 Captain James A. Lovell Jr. to the Moon and back in Mission Moon. In the interactive Community Design Lab, hands-on, minds-on activities challenge visitors to think about science—and the Adler—in new ways. Explore the largest of Pluto’s neighbors in the Kuiper belt, and hunt for a new ninth planet in the Adler’s newest sky show, Planet Nine opening May 28! Come spend a day with us. Dive into a challenge. Experiment, play and see why space really is freaking awesome!
